Church Life Survey Now On

As from 1 May, we have reopened the Church Life Survey. If you were unable to do the survey in November or December last year, you may wish to participate in the survey over the months of May and June this year. If so, register your church using one of the above links (if you have not already registered) - registration costs $50 unless you register as part of a group where they may be a group discount.

Reports Now Complete

The sixth Local Church Report, Catering for Younger People, is now available. You may click on the Reports tag above, enter your Church and Report Codes, select Printable Reports and you will find a link to this report.

Important Notice for Data Entry Operators - 21 December 2011

When you are entering data, you may find that a dialogue box comes up more than once. This is because the data you are trying to enter is incorrect. Modern browsers will display a message following a checkbox that says something like "Prevent this page from creating additional dialogues". DO NOT "tick" the checkbox. If you do, you will stop the webpage informing you of the mistakes you may be making in your data entry, and your data will have have at least one mistake - the mistake noted by the last dialogue box!

Printable Reports Now Available

If your data has been entered (either by yourself or us) you can now access the six printable reports. You can see these reports by clicking on the "Reports" tab above, entering your Church Code and Report Code, and following the instructions.
The reports are:

  • Demographics
  • Church Attendance / Approaches to Bible and Faith
  • Perceptions of Church and Leadership
  • Belonging and Involvement
  • Personal Spirituality
  • Catering for Younger People

Important Notice for Data Entry Operators

You are now able to review the data you have submitted. Click on the link "Show my submitted data" on the data entry "Welcome" page (it's at the bottom). You will then see the history of your data entries showing the first ten questions of each form.

The 2011 Church Life Survey is now happening. 100's of churches have already registered. You can still register for this survey using the links above. You can also download your questionnaires (see link above).

Church Life Survey New Zealand (CLSNZ) is an interdenominational non-profit organization working together for the purpose of helping churches research the needs of their congregations, so they can plan better for the future.

Nation-wide Survey - November 2011 - Features and Costs

Key Features:

  • Ecumenical. Includes a wide variety of churches from all major denominations, as well as independent churches.
  • Reports are available as the data is entered. Churches or regions can enter their own data online via the website or can commission CLSNZ to enter the data at a cost per fom.
